ANAK BUKIT, January 19 - Congratulation and appreciation goes to The Honorable Assoc. Prof Haji. Zakariya Man ​​on the Pingat Setia Diraja Kedah (S.D.K) award at Balai Penghadapan, Istana Anak Bukit today.
The award ceremony (Pengurniaan Bintang-Bintang dan Pingat-Pingat Kebesaran) was launched by His Royal Highness Dato 'Seri Utama Tunku Annuar Sultan Badlishah as the Representative Board of Chairman of Sultan of Kedah.
In addition, this ceremony is celebrated in conjunction with the 84th jubilee of His Majesty Sultan of Kedah and His Royal Higness appointment as the King last December.
Assoc. Prof. Zakariya said, the award is an encouragement and motivation for him to bear more success in the future.
It is hoped the honorary titles will be an ikon for INSANIAH student to pursue a better academic excellence.

January 15 - Department of International Student Affairs (HEPA) has organized a seminar on Leadership and Communication Skills at the Main Dining Hall yesterday. 

The seminar was officiated by the Deputy Director of the HEPA, Dr Abdirazak Hussein and accompanied by about 100 international students from Somalia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Cambodia and Nigeria.

The main objective of the seminar is to instill awareness among students about the importance of leadership and effective communication skills in an organization.

Two guest speakers were invited, Dr Zaridah Zakaria, from Kulliyyah Muamalat and Pn. Fairuzah Zawawi, from Insan Fasih. Dr Zaridah gave a talk on Leadership and Communication Skills and Pn. Fairuzah delivered a talk on Leadership from the Islamic Perspectives.

January 14, 2012 - The Banking Training conducted by GCIBFE for the Islamic Bank of Thailand (IBT) has started this morning was participated by 40 senior executives from the bank as the first batch.

The launching ceremony held at the Ramada Menam Riverview Hotel, Bangkok was officiated by INSANIAH Rector, Prof. Dato 'Wira Dr. Jamil Osman, and attended by the President of the IBT, Mr. Dheerasak Suwannayos with all IBT vice president and other senior staff including Dato' Dr. Adnan Alias, CEO of Islamic Banking and Finance Institute of Malaysia (IBFIM).

Representing INSANIAH were Executive Director of GCIBFE, Tuan Hj Besar Ngah, and the Deputy Rector of Student Affairs and the Dean of  Kulliyyah Muamalat, Prof. Dr. Wan Sulaiman Wan Yusoff as speakers. Other speakers involved were Encik Jamil Ramly, Ustaz Nazri Chik, Encik Wan Zambri and Haji Sabri Embi from IBFIM.

The workshop will run for three days, from January 14 to 16. It is held on a weekly basis and all of the 1800 IBT staff will participate alternately.

January 8, 2012 - Once again, Tuan Haji Shaya'a was honoured before leaving INSANIAH and this time was by Insan Bestari School.

A simple ceremony held at the Insan Bestari School was attended by INSANIAH management staff and students.

In the ceremony, Hj Shaya'a gave a farewell speech and shared some very interesting life journey to be a source of inspiration, especially to the  students.

Insan Bestari School took this opportunity to present him with a gift as a token of appreciation.
